Νεκρός βρέθηκε ο γνωστός ποινικολόγος Σταύρος Γεωργίου το βράδυ της Τρίτης (21/7) στο γραφείο του στην Γ΄ Σεπτεμβρίου στην Αθήνα.
Σύμφωνα με αστυνομικές πηγές, τον εντόπισαν οι κόρες του στο δικηγορικό του γραφείο που διατηρεί στην οδό Γ΄ Σεπτεμβρίου 158. Στο σημείο έσπευσαν ισχυρές αστυνομικές δυνάμεις, καθώς σύμφωνα με τις ίδιες πηγές βρέθηκε σε εμβρυακή στάση, ενώ υπάρχουν ενδείξεις εγκληματικής ενέργειας.
Ο χώρος δεν είναι αναστατωμένος, αλλά όπως αναφέρουν αστυνομικέςπηγές, πιθανόν ο άτυχος άνδρας να είναι αρκετές ώρες νεκρός, ενδεχομένως και από το πρωί της Τρίτης ή από το προηγούμενο βράδυ.
